1. General information

1.1. Definitions. As a general rule, terms starting with an upper-case letter convey the meaning attributed to them in our  privacy policy or otherwise in this Cookie management policy.

1.2. Relationship with the privacy policy. This Cookie management policy applies in addition to our privacy policy. In the event of discrepancies between the privacy policy and this Cookie management policy, the latter shall take precedence. 

1.3. A table that summarizes the cookies used by Emovo is annexed below.

2. Purpose

2.1. The purpose of this Cookie Management Policy is to inform Users about the type of Cookies used by Emovo and certain third parties as well as how they are used.  

2.2. Should a dispute arise over this Cookie Management Policy, from his/her browser, the User can block the use of Cookies. In this case, all or part of the Website may be inaccessible or unusable.

3. Definitions

3.1. Cookies are the equivalent of a small text file, stored on the access terminal (computer, tablet, phone, etc.), which the User uses to access the Website.

3.2. Cookies (or other similar technologies) are stored by Emovo or by third parties on the terminals used by the User to consult the Website. These cookies are used to collect information relating to the User’s browsing or to optimize/personalize his/her online experience.

4.1. Emovo’s Cookies. These cookies are stored on the user’s terminal by Emovo.

4.2. Third-party Cookies.  These Cookies stored on the user’s terminal by third parties (such as Google, etc.).

5. Cookies – Types and usefulness

5.1. Strictly necessary cookies. Some Cookies are required for use of our services. These are mainly Emovo’s Cookies. These Cookies are used notably to grant the User secure access to the Website.

5.2. Analytic Cookies. Some Cookies allow Emovo to better understand how a User is using the Website and how such Website is performing. This is the case for both Emovo’s Cookies and those of third parties. These Cookies allow Emovo to recognize and count the number of Users of the Website as well as determine how they use the Website. Emovo can use this information to improve the Website and the services it provides, as well as the Website security.

6. Cookie Management

6.1. Users can configure the use of Cookies by choosing at any time to disable the use of some are all of Emovo’s Cookies and/or those of third parties.

6.2. Cookies can be configured on each of the terminals used for browsing the Website, depending on the procedures used for them on these platforms and their respective documentation

6.3. It should be borne in mind that some Cookies are necessary for the use of certain services (Art. 5.1) and that disabling all or part of them may make it impossible to access certain services or to use them.

6.4. Disabling Analytical Cookies (Art. 5.2) can result in preventing the User's browser from sending information to the issuers of said Cookies and should not, in principle, prevent the use of the Platform.

6.5. Emovo cannot be held liable for the use of data collected by third parties and/or for cookies stored by them. It is the User’s responsibility to manage Cookies in accordance with each issuer.
